Curios is a self publishing platform for digital content that puts the creator and their audience first.
We're on a mission to support the creators of the content that we love. Most digital platforms shave off fractions of the revenue earned from your work and give those pitiful percentages to you. It is time to change that. We think that fans and creators are the only two parties that matter and by connecting the two in an open and honest way, both will win.
Facts of Curios:
- Any sales you garner onsite you keep 100% of them. Curios does not take a single cut of your sales. Instead Curios adds a small fee to the buyer at the transaction to cover our costs and the credit card costs.
- Your IP and your rights stay yours for any content that you upload on curios.
- The contact information for your fans is yours as well, within GDPR's standard compliance. Anyone that follows you, claims your content, or purchases your content, you will know exactly who they are and can take that information with you to use as you wish.
Below is our breakdown of our ecosystem and how our technologies work together for you to thrive as a creator.
studio.curios.com

This is where creators (authors, comedians, musicians, and more) go to upload and manage your content. You can set your prices, access your sales and user information, upload new content, take down old content and generally manage any offerings.
This is considered the backend platform. This is the tool for creators, and not a place to send your audience.
Any content published or managed on studio.curios.com shows up on the Curios marketplace marketplace.curios.com
marketplace.curios.com

This is where your customers, readers, audience, and fans will go to purchase or claim your content.
Items published in the studio show up here. Every creator that publishes an item on the studio gets a minimum of three pages on the marketplace.
They will get a “creator page” that houses the creators information and lists every single item the creator has published on Curios.

Example Profile page for a creator. Page lists featured items, info about creator and all published works
They will get an item detail page - this is the sales/giveaway page for any specific item you publish on Curios. This page will be where the user can buy your book, album, comedy special, or whatever item you list.

Finally creators also get a project page for any item they list. This allows creators to offer variations of items, series of items, or packages if they wish. Imagine having a page that houses all the options available, an audiobook, a deluxe version of the audiobook, or a full package of ebook/audiobook/and signed print copy.

Example of a project page: and area for creators to house variations of their items or series of their books.
For your audience. The marketplace features a wallet where any content they purchase can be listened to, viewed, or read. Additionally this will house all their past transaction information as well as allow them to view and find new content.
Curios App

This is the best place for your listeners, readers, or viewers to access your content. The app is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play store.
Users can download items for offline listening, and have much better placeholders for any content they are in the middle of listening to.
