T.A. McEvoy grew up in heels and high fantasy, despite being told girls weren't supposed to love dragons, elves, or galaxies far, far away. She never saw a reason to stop.

Though she avoids camping (unless it involves a bed, a shower, and zero bugs), she's drawn to darker tales with quiet strength, broken heroes, and healing that matters as much as vengeance. In the world of Vacari, forests mourn, dragons remember, and love comes in many forms, none of them asking you to change to be worthy.

She writes for readers who never quite fit in, who carry their softness like armor, and who crave fantasy with heart and teeth.

Her dragons love deeply. Not always romantically but fiercely, faithfully.

They are guardians.

And sometimes, they are the only ones who truly understand.

Embark on a journey into the enchanting world of Vacari, where the fate of realms hangs in precarious balance. Join the noble Eladrin Elves, guardians of the ancient city E'vahona, as they navigate trusted alliances with powerful Good Dragons, mysterious Merfolk, resilient Humans, ethereal Nymphs, and the enigmatic black panther, Pumpkin. Yet, lurking in the shadows are insidious threats – the malevolent Druchii (Dark Elves), ruthless Evil Dragons, and a coalition of sinister forces conspiring to annihilate the noble dragons and shatter the peace of E'vahona. Prepare for an epic saga of magic, alliances tested, and betrayal, where the destiny of Vacari teeters on the brink of destruction.

In the world of Vacari, dragons are far more than creatures of legend — they are living, thinking, feeling beings. They shape the world as much as any hero or villain, carrying their own burdens, forging their own destinies, and choosing their own paths.

My dragons are characters in their own right, with distinct personalities, strengths, and flaws. Some are fierce protectors, some cunning schemers, and others — well, they might surprise you when you least expect it.

I have always loved dragons, and in my stories, they are not background creatures or mindless beasts. They are integral to the living world of Vacari, woven into its very breath and heartbeat.

I invite you to meet them, follow their journeys, and discover the voices behind the flames.
