I didn't know that saying yes to donating blood — just to get a little Amazon gift card — would turn into all of this.

I didn't know the nurse helping me that day would become someone I'd stretch beside in a dance class, laugh with in a dark gym movie room, or quietly show up for on random Monday mornings when we both could've easily slept in.

I didn't know that something so small could turn into something so real. That one text could lead to weeks of movement, music, laughter, and friendship — even the soft, unspoken kind.

What started as a spontaneous \"sure, why not\" became a quiet ritual — not every day, not perfect, not planned — but meaningful. And isn't that what life is about? Finding joy in the in-between. Finding connection when you least expect it. Showing up, even when it's awkward. Even when it's new.
