\tI started life as an ordinary kid, left school and became a bum. I had an unusual aim in life; to muck about.

\tAfter being a bum, I started a pop band and spent a decade mucking about and getting paid for it. And it was a heck of a lot of fun.

\tI have written dozens of books ranging from how to be financially successful (Being Rich is Easy) to novels (Three Dont Tango) and travel books (The Last Troubadour in Spain). Plus a series of twenty novels about a group of teenagers growing up, discovering themselves, each other, sex, love, and the chaos of life. It is also a rather unusual and often confusing love story. The series also includes several albums of specially written songs, as the boy in the story forms his own pop band. After all, I spent the best part of a decade fronting a pop band in the UK, and running my own record company and recording studio.

\tI move about a lot, with homes in several countries, and have written several travel books (four volumes on living in Spain), plus books about my travels across a sharply divided Europe.

\tI've been a bum, a taxi driver, and even a road sweeper, and a goat-herd in the mountains of Morocco. I've also been a professional musician, a university lecturer, and a writer, appearing on radio and tv in many countries.
