\tI started life as an ordinary kid, left school and became a bum. I had an unusual aim in life; to muck about.

\tAfter being a bum, I started a pop band and spent a decade mucking about and getting paid for it. And it was a heck of a lot of fun.

\tI have written dozens of books ranging from how to be financially successful (Being Rich is Easy) to novels (Three Dont Tango) and travel books (The Last Troubadour in Spain). Plus a series of twenty novels about a group of teenagers growing up, discovering themselves, each other, sex, love, and the chaos of life. It is also a rather unusual and often confusing love story. The series also includes several albums of specially written songs, as the boy in the story forms his own pop band. After all, I spent the best part of a decade fronting a pop band in the UK, and running my own record company and recording studio.

\tI move about a lot, with homes in several countries, and have written several travel books (four volumes on living in Spain), plus books about my travels across a sharply divided Europe.

\tI've been a bum, a taxi driver, and even a road sweeper, and a goat-herd in the mountains of Morocco. I've also been a professional musician, a university lecturer, and a writer, appearing on radio and tv in many countries.

The action takes place in the future. The hero has employed an AI to help with the housework. This turns out to be a bit of a mistake. She's a nice girl, but perhaps she is too nice, and the rest of the gang are not too pleased with the new arrival. Is she competition?

This book looks at what life may be like in a decade's time when AIs are embedded into robots to create lifelike androids.

All does not go well with the new arrival, and it is not long before she is back at the android factory. And once you get through the door how do you tell which are the androids and which are the humans?

Life is getting messy!

This is about a bunch of teenagers who grow up together. The concept was initially modelled on the book The Group by Mary Macarthy, but the girls soon took over and wrote the books for me.

It’s initially about being a teenager, and trying to cope with an awkward age, coming to terms with the other sex, being bullied, and trying to cope with one’s own identity, whatever that may be, and, naturally, one hasn’t a clue at the time.

Gradually, through the barbed wire of school, sex, identity crises, the chaotic storms of love, whatever that may be, and a puzzled feeling that everything is wrong, and that adults are weird, some obsession starts to take over and tries to guide you out of the mess. Maybe it all goes in the wrong direction, but a direction does solidify, and this is where the rest of the series takes over.

Gradually all the members of the group find a way forward, and become successful.

The whole work is also a rather nice but strange love story they all take part in. At several points in the saga the whole edifice threatens to collapse, but the gang wants to stay together, and in the end they make it happen.
