Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile App Engineer to join our team on a temporary freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in React Native development and capable of building high-quality mobile applications for both Apple and Android platforms. The primary focus of this project will be on streaming digital content, and the app will heavily rely on integration with the Curios API (docs.curios.com).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
- Implement features and functionality according to project specifications.
- Integrate the Curios API into the mobile application seamlessly.
- Ensure the app meets performance and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during development.
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to deliver a polished user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript and React Native development.
- Experience in building and deploying mobile applications for both Apple and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with streaming digital content and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the Curios API or similar content streaming APIs.

Duration and Compensation
This is a temporary freelance position with an estimated duration of 3 months. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and negotiated based on the scope of the project.
