We hope that you’re doing well. We’re excited to share some major achievements and strategic updates from the past year. 2024 was a monumental year for Curios, marked by significant growth, new partnerships, and a clear focus on monetization in the year ahead.
The company's main focus is our digital content platform, where we give musicians, authors, and other creators a platform to distribute their content directly to their fans.
In the digital age, creators of content are receiving fractions of the sales or earnings their content is providing. This is becoming increasingly unsustainable for creators and they are looking for an alternative. The Curios platform does not take a cut of any sales or earnings and instead monetizes the use of our tool.

PLATFORM GROWTH
- After launching our digital content marketplace in 2023, we grew from 0 monthly registrations to approximately 2,000+ monthly registrations.
- Our community now stands at over 18,000+ creators and 400,000+ fans, reflecting a ~30% month-over-month growth rate.
- The ratio of our registrations last year benchmarked at 1.7% creators and 98.3% fans—an excellent indication of strong demand for new content.
KEY MILESTONES
Mobile App Launch
- The Curios mobile app debuted as our inaugural entry into mobile content delivery.
- Fans and collectors can now seamlessly stream, listen, watch, and read content directly from their devices, further broadening our audience reach.
Expansion into E-Books and Audiobooks at Author Nation
- We launched our digital book vertical in partnership with bestselling author Willow Winters at Author Nation.
- Willow’s books have now surpassed 100,000 downloads on Curios, reinforcing our platform’s ability to elevate both writers and readers.
- E-Books and Audiobooks are the fastest growing verticals on our platform.
Strengthening Our Musical Roots with Sonic Guild
- Partnering with Sonic Guild has deepened our ties to Austin’s dynamic music community.
- Together, we’re supporting independent artists and driving the next wave of digital music innovation.
Creators Unleashed during SXSW
- In March, we hosted “Creators Unleashed” during SXSW in Austin—an event featuring discussion panels on the future of creator monetization and live performances from top artists.
- This gathering fostered collaboration between creators, industry leaders, and fans, underscoring our commitment to the evolving digital creator economy.
FINANCIAL OUTLOOK
- The company remains financially strong, yet with this rate of creator adoption we are anticipating the need for a fundraise to meet the demand and to efficiently scale into this growth.
- Based on current forecasts, we have an estimated 18 months of runway remaining.
FORWARD LOOKING
- Our focus for the coming year is marketing and monetization.
- After surveying our creators, we identified the premium features they’re willing to pay for. We’ll be rolling out paid plans modeled on SaaS principles—enhanced discovery tools, audience-building features, and revenue-generation options.
- We ran virtually no traditional marketing in 2024, our growth was mainly from word of mouth in our creator communities and in organic marketing. In 2025 we are going to add traditional marketing and ads to increase our growth velocity and drive users to our premium features.
